What a mouthful 😮 While their name may be complex, we’re happy to report that these Xanthosoma (zan-tho-soma) are anything but! They’re in the caladium family, but have very simple care. They do grow large leaves and will make a wonderful floor plant in time. 

☀️ Moderate to bright indirect light is best if growing indoors. These plants would love a shady spot outdoors during summer months. Avoid direct sun. 

💧Water often enough to keep the soil damp. 

🐾 Mildly toxic to our furry friends, with possibility of causing oral and gastro irritation. We recommend keeping out of reach if your pet is a chewer.
